Black Walnut (Juglans nigra)

Large, uniform rounded tree that is valued for its strong attractive timber.  Recommended for USDA zones 4-9.  Medium growing tree reaching up to 75 foot height and 50 foot spread.  Will produce nuts in mid fall and can begin producing a crop as early as 7 years.  Tolerates a wide range of soil conditions, hardy tree, and thrives in full sun.
